“School Renovation Project”
does NOT ADDRESS the most pressing needs of our schools
This bloated “MHHS Showcase Project” will be a great windfall to private parties, but it is a downright disaster for public education and threatens your property values.
Meanwhile, the entire High School is now on an Accreditation Watch List, yet this project doesn’t address the majority of the problems in that school. The Science Wing represents a fraction of what that school needs.
This MHHS represents a huge renovation of a school with enrollment that is rapidly shrinking in population approaching 450 kids.
This is not a project we need - it’s a fancy political payback to outsiders and
It will DOUBLE YOUR TAXES!
Ask the Board of Education why they went for the fancy project for a shrinking school population while they ignore a high school that is falling apart?
This project is not about kids - It's about MONEY and PAYBACK!
